My name is Sophie. I’m a classically trained chef living in Frederick, Maryland, working to pave my own path in the foodservice industry.

I’ve always considered myself incredibly lucky to have discovered my passion so early in life. I was only 5 years old when I cut my first vegetable, and from there on, cooking became nothing short of an obsession. I spent my childhood watching my heroes on television, cooking my way through my favorite books, making dinner for my family, even testing new recipes on my babysitters!

As I grew older, my curiosity developed into a commitment to the craft. During my summers, I worked full-time in professional kitchens, absorbing as much knowledge and experience as I possibly could. During the school year, I attended an intensive technical school, where I built the foundational skills that would prepare me for culinary school. I also discovered an unexpected passion for hospitality that would shape my career in the future.

In 2018, I graduated from Johnson & Wales University with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Foodservice Management. From there, I continued to grow through experiences in a variety of professional kitchens, studying cuisines from around the world while developing my technical skills and evolving my own style.

Years of hard work and learning came to fruition when I developed a successful restaurant from the ground up with a partner. I served as
Executive Chef for several years, an experience that challenged me,
pushed me to grow, and ultimately showed me my capability of bringing a vision to life.

Fine dining and service has long been an inaccessible luxury. Utilizing my skills and experience, I’m here to provide delicious, original, scratch-made food of the highest quality paired with service customized to your occasion, tastes, dietary needs, nutrition, and timeline - all at an affordable cost.

After more than a decade of pursuing my dream of being a great chef, I found myself growing increasingly frustrated with the industry I once fell in love with. Too often, quality and craftsmanship are undermined by poor management and their strict expectations to maximize profits at the expense of employee wellbeing and even guest experience. This ugly truth exists all around us, and it’s only gotten worse with time. To be blunt, years of fighting against these conditions to maintain integrity of myself and my employees left me burnt out and demoralized. I refused to continue the cycle and left the industry.

I’m back and determined to dream differently. My next pursuit leads me toward providing restaurant quality food and service to all who need it. Utilizing my skills and experience, I can accommodate your every need without making sacrifices - because dreams deserve to come to life!

  • Home cooking and service. Dinner for two, birthday celebrations, frozen meals, and more. I’ll prepare the food in your own home, serve you, and leave your kitchen cleaner than I found it!

  • I’ll prepare the food ahead of time and bring it to you ready to share and enjoy. Bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, tailgates, potlucks, and even your child’s sleepover!

  • I can take into consideration your dietary restrictions and nutrition requirements to assist you in achieving your health goals without sacrificing flavor. No subscription required!

  • Utilizing 4 years of mastering pasta making, I can create endless shapes and flavors of pasta. Delivered to you fresh or frozen, and I’ll even make you sauce!

  • For home cooks and professional kitchens alike. I’ll develop custom recipes based on your vision and ability level. When you make it, you’re free to call me if you need any assistance!

  • School lunches and Assisted Living. I can help you in providing high quality food made specially for your loved ones who can’t provide for themselves. Rest easy knowing their tastes and dietary requirements are being accomodated!

  • Relax while I introduce you to your new favorite wines, paired with a small spread or perhaps a meal made with/for the wines you enjoy. 21 and up!
